BioSteps Drain/Waste Fitting
The Drain / Waste Fitting is located on the bottom of filter tank. It includes a barb with threaded plug , 2 O-rings and a nut. Use one O-ring on each side of the filter tank. The plug end is a 1" sch 40 PVC female thread. You can install a 1" PVC male adapter with wrapping tape and then glue on an optional 1" gate valve for more convenient cleaning and draining.
