Koi & Pond Tip of the Day
February 11th, 2016
If the pH of your pond water needs to be adjusted, it is best to first check the buffering capacity, measured as carbonate hardness (KH). The KH should ideally be between 100-200 ppm. Properly buffered water will help stabilize the pH levels. Once the KH is in check, adjustments can better be made to the pH if needed.
