Single Air Base w/ Dual Air Discs
Award winning design! Matala offers an air diffuser assembly with hollow base that can be filled with sand or gravel. This eliminates the need for bricks and straps to get the diffuser to sink. The base is heavy duty rugged plastic with soft edges. Fill the base with small gravel and sand and purge of all air bubbles. The base comes with a friendly multi-barb that will allow connection to various sizes of air hose including 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 1".These are available with 9" or 12" rubber membrane disc diffusers as a single disc, double disc or quad disc assembly.

Single 9" head (MDB11) handles airflow 0.9 - 4.2 cfm / 25 - 120 lpm. Recommended for 25 lpm - 80 lpm air pumps.
Double 9" head (MDB12 or MDB22) handles airflow 2.1 - 8.4 cfm / 60 - 240 lpm. Recommended for 100 lpm - 200 lpm air pumps. This configuration will give a slightly smaller bubble size for a more gentle roll at the surface of pond.
Quadruple 9" head (MDB24) handles airflow 4.2 -16.8 cfm / 120 - 480 lpm. Recommended for 150 lpm to 250 lpm air pumps. This configuration will give a slightly smaller bubble size for a more gentle roll at the surface of pond.
Single 12" head (MDB11+12) handles airflow 2.8 - 7.0 cfm / 80 - 200 lpm. Recommended for 80 lpm to 150 lpm air pumps.
Double 12" head (MDB22+12 "Special Order") handles airflow 5.6 - 14.0 cfm / 160 - 400 lpm. Recommended for 200 lpm to 350 lpm air pumps. This configuration will give a slightly smaller bubble size for a more gentle roll at the surface of pond.
